FAQ
Find answers to frequently asked questions.
Is this solution for any company, regardless of size?
Yes, for each. The technology used is fully scalable and, so to speak, grows with the company. Our clients include small companies as well as large multinational industrial concerns.
What IT infrastructure do I need to implement NAZCA 4.0?
NAZCA 4.0 is a completely cloud-based solution, so it does not require a dedicated IT environment. All that is needed is computers with Internet access. If a NAZCA 4.0 solution needs to be built on local infrastructure, we will work together to determine the technical requirements. It should be added that NAZCA 4.0, fully supports such a technical solution. A hybrid solution is also possible, combining both approaches to building IT environments.
What infrastructure changes do I need to make to implement NAZCA 4.0?
It depends on the technical sophistication of the generation infrastructure. Relatively new machines do not require any modifications, only access to their controls is sufficient. Older machines may require a process of so-called retrofitting, that is, upgrading the sensor and communication layer. Most often, however, it is a non-invasive and economically accessible process.
How long does the Industry Pilot 4.0 take?
Pilot implementation is a short process, taking one, or a maximum of two days. The piloting itself is limited to 30 days. In our opinion, this is enough time to see if the use of such technology makes sense, both technologically and economically.
Is the Industry Pilot 4.0 chargeable?
Yes, it is paid, but our salary only covers logistical costs and a small part of personnel costs. It’s a win-win, because implementing such a pilot on its own with own resources would consume much more money for the infrastructure itself, not to mention the cost of access to specialized personnel.
What if ndustry Pilot 4.0 meets my expectations?
Then, based on the lessons learned during the pilot, you will decide on the next steps in digital transformation. We can also jointly determine the optimal scope and location for implementation based on experience. We will transfer the project defined in this way to the whole, or to another area of the enterprise. We will also provide the necessary transfer of specialized knowledge for managers and employees to use the tool effectively.
What is the licensing model of NAZCA 4.0?
We prefer the SaaS* subscription model, or monthly fee, because it is convenient and efficient for both parties. In case of the necessity of the so-called on- premise model**, we will individually determine the license scope and technical considerations in terms of IT environment.
*SaaS – Software as a Service – software as a service, in the form of a subscription for its use.
** on-premise – local IT installation, on enterprise servers, combined with the purchase of all necessary software licenses.
